History, romance, charm and an element of intimacy combine to make the Mill a unique venue to hold a function or wedding reception and ceremony in the Macedon Ranges. Built in 1861 out of local blue stone, the building carries the warmth and heritage of yesteryear.

            Its Georgian style is simple yet bold and imposing. Be amazed  at the building's impressive façade - the main attraction of the Mill. The reception centre has three interconnected levels: the Gallery Space, the Mezzanine Chamber and the Bridge Level. Perhaps use one level for entree, one for mains, then one for dessert. Ample parking is available onsite.  We can cater for exclusive receptions for as little as 10 guests - that is you can enjoy the whole venue and grounds exclusively with just 10 guests.

WEDDINGS

 Choose your theme:  rustic, bush, elegant or casual.

  Use the building's facade as an amazing backdrop for your garden ceremony in the front garden taking advantage of the property's mature oak, gum and elm trees.  Alternatively ceremonies can be held in the Gallery, candlelit, with its historic exposed timber beams and classical arched windows. These areas can also be used for pre-reception gatherings. Other garden areas are available for the ceremony.

            There are plentiful quaint photo opportunities within the building and the grounds.

                       Wedding menus (cocktail, three course dinner or buffet) are individualised. We specialise in Levantine cuisine with impressive multiple course banquets and significant cocktail mezzo canapés. The cocktail menu will not leave your guests hungry - a great cost effective menu and unlike other cocktail menus, is a substitute for a lunch or dinner sit down meal. Other menus are available.

            Our obligation to you is to provide a hassle free wedding day that exceeds your expectations and leave you and you guests at ease.

             At the Mill you can couple historic grandeur with modern amenity thereby creating a wedding reception forever unique, forever vivid.  

            We can cater for small intimate weddings of up to 100 seated guests with a dance floor, or more for receptions held over two levels. Cocktail functions up to 200 guests. The Mill is also suitable for smaller weddings from 10 to 70/80 guests.

            As a boutique function centre, we have a dedicated small group of staff concerned with creating for you a fun and memorable wedding. We can assist you with sourcing accommodation and transport for your guests.
